Assuming you're mining on a pool: If you don't mind losing bitcoins for that time, then it doesn't matter. Your rig will produce a certain amount of bitcoins per hour/minute, exactly the amount of downtime will be lost. But once you reboot, fire up your miners again and you should be fine.

Nice idea though, you should get that name patented, I really like the sound of it
