cool thanks, ill give that a try.

i see that you have other commands entered in the 'more options' field - what are other commands for the device? if its not too much trouble could you please list out the commands and what they do so i could mess around with my unit?

real--quiet makes the device more quiet than --quiet?

Code:
--avalon-auto       Adjust avalon overclock frequency dynamically for best hashrate
--avalon-fan Set fanspeed percentage for avalon, single value or range (default: 20-100)
--avalon-freq Set frequency range for avalon-auto, single value or range
--avalon-cutoff Set avalon overheat cut off temperature (default: 60)
--avalon-options Set avalon options baud:miners:asic:timeout:freq
--avalon-temp Set avalon target temperature (default: 50)

--real-quiet isn't a noise thing it just disables all output. It came with that already in and I've never changed it.

Mine is a batch #3 and the temperature sensors were moved so I have to use --avalon-temp and --avalon-cutoff as the defaults are too low, you shouldn't need to add them.
