Sprouts had been born in 2015, but had few updates during long time.
Members of the development team have changed greatly, and we started taking actions to revive this coin.


1, We carried out the Sprouts hard fork

We will carry out the Sprouts hard fork to correct too high PoS rate.
in the previous announcement, we mentioned that we had also a possibility that source code of Peercoin is better for use than that of current Sprouts.
we have decided to carry out the hard fork on a PeerCoin-based code, taking into consideration potential bugs that have not yet been acknowledged.
In the plan, we will finish testnet check at the middle of May. We are planning to carry out a test for hard fork on mainnet from mid-May to late May. We will also release new wallet between late May and early June.


2, Swap possibility to the new currency.

Currently, total issue of Sprouts is more than 7 trillion, so we will carry out hard fork to prevent further inflation.
However, as a result of various trials, it has become clear that the project progression is very difficult from the state of 7 trillion already issued. (Details are explained from the Dev team separately)
For this reason, we are considering hard fork and swap to new currencies in parallel.
In the case of swap to the new currency, there is a possibility that it may become a swap with a limit due to the current amount of issuance.
Swapped Sprouts are burned.

3, We are planning to make an exchange (timing is undecided)

Sprouts intends to aim at the base currency of small price currency (bean sprouts coin, bean sprouts token). It is a position like DOGE for sleeping giant.
We have been working on the new exchange system for Sprouts market, and we finished a test of the alpha version.
However, we need to investigate legal requirements for the exchange, so we are temporarily halt the development. Our team will focus on hard fork first.
