In short: Metronome is a cryptocurrency that will have the ability to exist on multiple blockchains, with advanced payment features, and an autonomous converter contract where users can sell Metronome for the token of the underlying chain or the token of the underlying chain for Metronome (page 22 of the owner's manual gets into that more).
