I'm gonna mine a few hours on mining pool hub, but have it just store the zencash instead of putting on it's own auto convert to btc. getting screwed on the fees to auto convert since I'm a small miner? like I make $.50 an hour but they charge $.45 per conversion?
Yeah doing auto-convert is a bad idea. You are essentially paying those mining pools to do the auto conversion for you which is silly.
First of all you should only convert your coins when the timing is right (when the conversion rate is good). Secondly, you don't need to convert every payout, just set your minimum payout limit to a high amount so that you don't always get charged the payout fee.
Mining is about optimizing your profits. Pick the best miners that give the lowest fees, tune your hardware correctly, and fine the most profitable coins to mine.
