Thanks. Gave me some food for thought. Looks like I will go get a new power supply. Perhaps KNC should change their PS recommendations? Also, I thought the power usage was going to be 1W per GH/s. I haven't been keeping up with the news.
The current miners can hash at 1W/Gh/s, less even dependant on the firmware, but the tuning suite will allow you to decide that far more specifically. Each die appears to have an operational sweet spot.
I'm yet to see 1W/Gh/s at the wall, which btw is dependant on PSU used, so technically it is a wrong claim to make
