There are FOUR crypto platforms with real world use. BITCOIN RIPPLE NEM WAVES all others are VAPOR SCAM
What about Ardor and Komodo and Stratis, all those three are strong competitors for Waves. NEM is strong too, but ripple is a bank platform and already captured, so it doesn't count, and Bitcoin cash is the real Bitcoin anyway.
Jl777 is the best dev in crypto, Sasha in comparison isn't in the same league, and he still won't reopen swaps for Coinomat and NXT assets, so his trust reputation is severely compromised. He doesn't even have a good hairdo like Vitalek.
Also true there are lots of competitors of WAVES, their prices are even better than waves particularly ETHEREUM. KOMODO and Startis can really be profitable if you just can wait for its price to rocket up. Stratis I remember reached up to $15 last year too, I think they can hit that again this year. But I stick to hold WAVES because of its easy access to DEX.
