ETHLargement - The Hashrate Harderner

At OhGodACompany, we believe the Ethereum network should be enjoyed by all graphic cards, no matter the make or model. That's why ETHlargement was created - so you could get back to what's important: shitposting.

Dear developer, I assume the pill just killed my 1080ti card Smiley Please follow the story and feel free to adjust anything if you see other relations:

- 8*1080ti (z270p MB), 1 year no issues mining ZEC (Win/HiveOS)
- hiveOS build 48 — manually launched the pill, miners used: ethminer/claymore. Both resulted in ~42-45MH/s. Far from expected 50+, so switched back to ZEC (dtsm)
- hiveOS crashed with unusual screen output: no info from all 8 cards (not temperature, nor fan speed) + high constant CPU load (15-18%, while usually 2-3%), pool (flypool) receives 30-40sol/s in total
- default setting/rebooting/risers/power supply — no results
- checked on Win with ewbf — crashed on start-up
- digged in looking for specific card(s) that lead to this situation
- found EVGA 11G-P4-6591-KR (iCX) — this one became not stable
- with this card (only 1 card) Windows starts, but dtsm shows illegal memory access was encountered error, ewbf — thread exited with code 30

Summary:
after memory-related tool 1 card is dead with memory-related errors.

Any hints of what can be done manually to fix what was done with the pill?

Browsing these errors found an article with "The error occurs when attempting to generate the DAG file"/ "assuming the memory blocks are not cleared down after a device is powered off" — does it help to define route cause?
