With copious amounts of purported fake news being peddled throughout the world, consumer-trust has come under increasing scrutiny. This reality isnt restrained by prestige or geography, rather, media organizations at all levels and globally are included. In this article, I investigate whether state-sponsored broadcasters should be included under this umbrella of skepticism, or, is fake news mostly prevalent in the private broadcasting fringes?
