1) Why do you use other (separate) power supply for the USB-hub? Why you can not use the power from the main PS?
2) Can you tell how this aluminium profile is called? I want to try to find it locally (ordering over sea will make them made from silver

1. I probably could... But being lazy and having plenty of power sockets to plug it into, I'll stick with just having to plug two cords in. I already reduced one cord by using a USB hub that can power and be used by the Pi without stability issues, so that's good enough... For now.
2. I got my case from Spotswood. He makes nice cases. Ask him
