I agree that privacy is important, and I get the advantages of zk-snarks, but what's wrong with the current privacy altocins, such as Monero. Why do we need Bitcoin Private as a double fork of both ZClassic and Bitcoin? With all that happened recently around some of the leading figures of Bitcoin Private, I have yet to be convinced that it wasn't done for a short term monetary gain.
In that case we should look to bitcoin private's road map.
The development of bitcoin, bitcoin core has more years than zcash and monero.
The main feature for bitcoin private i think that he can accept and use this development.
I still believe that the future cryptocurrency should have 2(open and private) protocols, as zcash
and no fees, lightning speed as lightning network is going to offer.
