yes you should hold your ether and also hold your breath because it have some good news in comming feature it also depand upon demand and supply porwe but now a days lots of coins are comming in ERC20  based on ether so it is stable coin dnt be a panic seller just hold your coins if it drop There are some positive signals in the market recently. I don't think it should be a time to invest in other coins. Altcoin has a lot of uncertainty. It would be a good idea to choose bitcoin and ETH if you invest in a long time.
