My guess is... math. 
Just a quick notice from the Blocks page:
At the time of our last block--since the beginning of the year--we got 56 out of 57.11 expected blocks. That's ~98% of what could be statistically expected during that time period... Not bad from my perspective.
That means we can expect a month with about 102%. Even better.
Mine on!!!
Edit: I'm not saying it's this month, but I'm hoping!
