This forum is totally unfriendly for local users. Beside the issue with moderation you can check the merit circulation in local sections. Theymos either don't care about those local plebs or the merit system was designed to prevent them from ranking up.

...and be ignored There may or may not be moderators, but Theymos definitely has appointed merit sources in the local boards. The two could be interconnected. Maybe if the local boards are better moderated and have less spam, the local merit sources would find it easier to give merits in these boards
