Wouldn't go ahead and call this a loophole, it's something which is built into the system for people to get lower tx fees. If you were doing something like a loophole, you wouldn't be posting it on here, you'd be hiding that for yourself. The same sort of thing is on binance and any other exchange which is trying to get people on them.
