It doesn't change anything on my 1080Ti. I have it with 1060, so I use --revA 0 (the 1080Ti is GPU0). I launch the tool before miner, pause 3 sec and launch claymore (or ethminer) : always 37MH/s 
if i got it right, -revA need to use in case of 1080 with old memory or smth like that.try both ways.
1080 ti should work fine without revA
