PrimeCoin (XPM) = 12xfaster then Bitcoin, usefull in science, good press, unique!, probably more secure then SHA256, smooth reward dropping, CPU mining (everyone could do it).

people should read more about this coin. I make a lot of research and can't find better project. Maybe NVC (with CAP of 10 NVC per POS) could  rival.

Now the problem with price is becouse people were waiting for difficult 10. after ypool down - many people was disappointed (me too). But this is short term factor - by the end of the year we should reach difficult 10 and the reward will drop 10-15%. Another bad factor was maco and his scam-promote project. He told that he will find good people and promote primecoin, but he did nothing. Another short-term bad factor is talking about GPU miner and big dissapointed in this area.

This is only short-term factors and i belive that we will see XPM/BTC at 0,1 in the future. Maybe one, maybe 2-3 years. We will see. People who invest in cryptocoin couldn't miss XPM becouse if SHA256 will be broke then XPM will survive - everyone need to be diversify.
