Are we talking about a post-apocalyptic future, where don't expect electricity to return?  I'm pretty sure everything will lose value, except food and other necessities. (maybe bottle caps, got to start saving those). Otherwise, I think Bitcoins would survive a 1 or 2 day power outage.
