For more than a century, the banking system was used to fund state, endanger the stability of the economic activity, robbing private savings, eliminate one road, promote the financing dependence, even make violent reached an unprecedented scale, all because we do not have different techniques to implement monetary exchange.
Sure, all this shit happened. But that's not a symptom of "banking" it's a symptom of human corruption and greed being applied to banking. It's the people that are the problem.
Do you think bitcoin will replace Banks in the future?
Replace isn't the word I'll use, in fact I hope bitcoin doesn't replace banks any time soon. The people that run banks are powerful and greedy, they'll fight the hardest fight against anything that threatens their business and horizon of wealth. If that battle happens too soon they'll end Bitcoin before it gets started.
Let these things coexist for a long time and let the future utility of both decide their fate.
