What a depressingly scumbag move by the zcash people. guess its time to find another coin that actually promotes freedom of choice.

"...Another complicating factor is that the Zcash Companys chief, Zooko, has signalled ambivalence about ASIC resistance.
The Foundation is in the process of adopting community feedback as part of our own governance process, and in fact has already planned to represent the communitys interest in this debate via a proposed ballot for our election process. "
