So Ive been checking out Cardano a bit more closely. I really like the way they show their roadmap, they do updates pretty regularly and their team seems really solid. However, they really dont bring that much to the table, the competition is pretty stern. Apparently they have two ICOs that are looking to run on Cardano somewhere in June, and if that goes smoothly, who knows, maybe there could a price surge? Whatta think?
The project is a decentralized platform, within which you can create applications and contracts.The project is interesting, primarily because instead of the Proof of Work technology, the Ouroboros algorithm is involved. It does not consume much energy, unlike PoW, where production is conducted through energy-intensive mining on powerful devices. There is the Cardano Foundation, responsible for the standardization, protection and promotion of the project.
