The way I see it, its a good idea to stack some of as many alt coins as possible early on when it's easy to mine.  As long as you get in early it takes you no time at all. Then you just sit on them, if they go nowhere (as I'm sure most will) then its no great loss, however if they explode...

I remember back in the day when BTC was around 12USD, I thought Litecoin would prob amount to nothing, but that seems to be coming along nicely now. In cryptocurrency more than anything else, we just can't tell what the future will bring. I plan to cover as many of the bases as possible
