My apologies if I came on a bit strong in my earlier post. Perhaps my bad day at work contributed some. I'll make an effort to be nicer and stay on subject in the future. I did hop on here to say that Bitmain did send me an email as well offering me the refund. I didn't ask for it. I didn't open a ticket with them. I just woke up one morning (May 7) and found the email from them in my inbox. It requested that I send them a Bitcoin Cash address along with the order ID# so they could deposit the refund of $578 USD in BCH. Indicated it would happen in the next 1 to 2 months. Oddly enough the email did have a "Ticket Number" associated with it and at the end they said not to open another ticket but to reply off that email using that ticket number. The subject line read: "Fwd: Request #433870: How would you rate the support you received?". I'm assuming they simply did a mass mailing to all the foreign purchasers of the miner? Because the email was addressed to me and was sent to the proper email on file for my account with Bitmain. Anyway, if somone elses actions prompted me to receive the refund then I must say thank you. To whomever that was. Because I wouldn't have bothered to ask. I will stand up for myself in situations I feel warrant it. Perhaps I did not fully understand this situation... I was under the impression everyone was being treated equally. My bad.
Now to stray completely off topic I'll post my earnings since this kind of data is generally hard to come by. Not as good as I had hoped. But still confident the miner will pay well in the long run. I'm running on the uupool.
