This is a very interesting question for discussion. If bitcoin as a result of some extraordinary circumstances disappears, I do not see any reason to worry about altcoyins. Why should they disappear? I think that they will continue to work. It's just then interesting - will they be free in price terms? Perhaps everything will depend on the maturity of the market.
