When will we reach the state of more of less stable cryptocurrencies or it is in their nature and will never end?

Cryptocurrencies will continue to be volatile unless the government would impose prejudicial tax impositions or if any department has control over its regulation and transactions. For example, other investment alternatives such as gold hoarding, stocks, bonds/treasury bills, properties, etc. are headed by their respective departments, government agency or organization. Their prices are relatively controlled compared to the volatility of bitcoin since its decentralized nature eliminates the need of such regulation in the market.

A crypto's volatility depends on the market. It's volatility makes it more alive than just remaining at the same price for years. It will be announced as dead soon if it remains at same price for years.
News in crypto market makes positive/negative impact on its price. Good news makes it more popular among people and hence more people are buying it and hence increase in price, however on the other site if the news about a coin is bad like security flaws, theft, hacking etc.makes bad impact on its reputation and hence it's price will go down.

I definitely agree. News revolving the status of bitcoin in the market is heavily influenced by its price. The slightest implementation of a country which prohibits the utilization of bitcoin significantly affects its price. Since investors base their decisions on the price of bitcoin, this may affect the market and ultimately reducing/increasing its volatility.
