I have been involved in crypto for about 6 months now and I could say I have lost a bit of money by investing in some not so good coins (alts). Up to now I have only been investing and tried to hold them for some time . I haven't tried to day trade yet.
You have lost some money and you started to hodl, that experience is enough for you, I am sure that day trading would be another loss for you because there is not easy gain you should continue to hodl.
This is the result when you are buying coins without studying, investing can be more risk than trading simply because you might fall in some shit coins and believing that it can go high even if its not. In this case you will just miss the opportunities to make more profit with other great coins.
