There will be no the next ethereum, even ETC can do nothing to compete with ethereum. Ethereum is ethereum and it's the only one. Compared with new platform which only interested to copycats the idea and increase the capability of smartcontract and ethereum foundation can to it. Ethereum doesn't need any help from the new platform just like EOS is money grabber.
