I have to concur with this. What exactly does Litecoin offer at the moment? Primecoin's proof-of-work system is more resistant to ASIC-centralization than scrypt and is actually of scientific use. Peercoin has an entirely different philosophy. Litecoin is a slightly faster version of Bitcoin, but is that enough?
