I think that you shouldntr try to use app or web wallet, beside, use only hardwallet and metamask extension to proctect your coins these two are the most basic yet handy things you should have when you are holding big amount of crytocurrenc assets. 
if you do have a lot of capital. it never hurts to be able to buy wallets like nano s and trezor too. more awake for your assets in the wallet
