does seals need to upgrade their bandwidth or pay their bills? connection problems like nobody's business......
yeah man, that was ridiculous. It was my first time playing on the service, and things started great. I won a few hands right out of the gate, and amassed a fat stack of chips that would've held me out until the final three. Unfortunately, I was timed out during a couple larger bets, unable to get back into the site for a few minutes, and then returned to see that my stack had significantly dwindled. Sigh. I emailed support requesting a refund for the tournament I played in or a voucher of equal or greater value.
I really want to give the site a fair shot, but if they can't in good faith reimburse me for the half-assed experience I was subject to tonight, I can't support them.
Hope things get sorted out, because I was really enjoying the platform when it worked! Would love to be able to wipe the slate clean and give it another first time go.
Let me edit to addI contacted their support department expressing my frustrations, and received an immediate reply indicating they would be taking a look at all the hands played during this time period and reimbursing folks accordingly. Received the reply in less than 15 minutes. Very pleased with that interaction and looking forward to what they've got coming down the road.
Apparently the connection issues are the result of migrating the service over to a new, more robust data center. So things should be in better working condition once that is completed...
