imo there is noone who could be a direct competitor to netflix, amazon or whatever anymore. like you pointed out, cryptoflix is going another way instead of streaming only content, it will also develop content.
They are also developing content. But the difference with cryptoflix they will help content developing with crowdfunding.
This is the biggest difference.
Cryptoflix targets the different marketsfor this reason. Most people in the West already have Netflix or Amazon subscriptions so Cryptoflix tries to gain a foothold somewhere else.
