This is something I've wondered before, as there is literally nothing to stop women from engaging in the space as opposed to other arenas e.g. corporate structures where biases might lead to a bigger weighting of men in a space.

Perhaps it's something to do with men's innate desire to provide for their families- in this reality by making as much money as possible, largely. Whatever the reason, I think there are more and more women becoming involved
