At this moment crypto is actually hurting the gaming industry because of the high prices of GPUs.
More people are turning to consoles and the games that are generating most of the money are PC based ones.
MMORPGs and FPSs are best played on PC.
I honestly hope this happens, it will be so much better to use my crypto instead of fiat and credit cards to buy in-game stuff, I'm really a gaming enthusiast and I like buying stuff (when done in the right way to not kill the game).
