imo there is noone who could be a direct competitor to netflix, amazon or whatever anymore. like you pointed out, cryptoflix is going another way instead of streaming only content, it will also develop content.
The ability to easily fund movies could be something completely game changing like ICOs changed the Kickstarter industry.
Funding a movie and also developing a movie features is different from netflix or else. Funding movie feature is definitely the most precious one.
It is certainly a differential, because although the existing platforms, operating in different directions, they do not make independent material financing, much less operate with their own currency on their platforms, nor do they give a boost to the results of their productions
