OT, but I'm really looking forward to performing a rite of passage--we should at least get badges or something--by making a 220v NEMA 10-30 (3 prong dryer plug) to C13 (female PSU plug) power cord for the 1200w HP server PSU that I'm using to run my Avalon6...
Just out of curiosity, though...
* Has anyone ran into any issues with their dryer outlet not being surge protected? (I'm currently dedicating a heavy duty surge protector to my mining rig)
* Also, is it true that the PSU (miner too?) will run cooler on 220v vs. 110v?
