Part of this is about whales buying huge amounts for sure. The other part is that ASICS' been dumping for quite a long time so they've got some BTC on their hands and they're also trying to pump the price a bit before the algo change goes through to get the best price. Just look at what happened to MSR and all other CN coins after the fork. Sure Dero is the most outstanding coin I've seen so far but our community is relatively small.  Plus there are many greedy GPU miners out there and Dero's gonna be a gold mine for them at least for a day or two. Of course all this does NOT mean that the price will significantly drop cause at the same time Atlantis will bring more light to Dero, we'll see soon and I'm so damn excited!
