The least investment time horizon should be determined by the creator of the algorithm according to algorithm's trading style and activity. Longer time horizon makes the probability of losing your collateral lower but may scare off investors. Shorter one works in the opposite way. After our out-of-sample testing is done we recommend time horizon according to our own calculations.
