Our time now is  not like before where we exchange our needs to a material things with same value. We are no longer in a barter system but on a progressive generation. We need money to buy all the things we need and want to buy. Money now is a medium of our exchange, that's why we're using it.

instead that like that the whole point of money? to like barter easier?

and yes I agree money is now a medium of exchange, could time be tho? like time notes instead of debt notes? seems pretty progressive
