From the technology aspect to admire, the technology from Ethereum such as super-network computer to smart contracts that act very much like future's contracts without counterpart.  Litecoin Lighting network which allows for certain of micropayment channels across which mutliple Bitcoin transactions can be securely performed without interacting with Bitcoin Blockchain.
Blockchain gaming which is set to introduce crypto gaming.
I will admit that technology side of cryptocurrencies it's mindblowing.  
Money aspect it's nice to make money on side as well to be in control of your own finance.
