I'm unclear how Tari will help Monero's price. Is the purchase of Monero a requisite for tokens on Tari?

What will help is the professionalization that VC's, marketing departments etc, will bring to the project. Though Monero might not be their focus, it certainly stands to benefit indirectly.

That said, two years (the projected development period) is an eon in Crypto.
