Not sure if you guys are up-to-date with what's going on with Verge but they're under attack right now. Some say DDOS. Some say a 51% attack. Either way, I'd love to know how vulnerable DigiByte is to attack. 
To this attack Jared seems confident (https://twitter.com/jaredctate/status/999298805878026240) : "The problem here was block timing and their dark gravity well difficulty adjustment. DigiByte fixed this problem in 2014 with DigiShield. They allowed up to two hour discrepancy in block times."
