I just took 50 Bitcoins out of my Just-Dice investment. Back when that was $5,000 it wasn't that big a deal. But now that it is $50,000 I feel that the risk is too much.
I still have a few hundred left in the investment but I am seriously going to reduce it. Just as soon as I can get over the idea of making more money off of other gamblers.
Just-Dice was really profitable for me initially. I was up over 40 bitcoins at once. Then nakawa brought me down 30 bitcoins. Months later and I am barely even. I am making money very slowly now that the purse is so large.
50,000 bitcoins = 50 million dollars is way too much money for this service.
I lost my early adopter advantage by placing some bets myself. I really regret this. I lost what I can afford, about 15% of my total stake, but if I hadn't lost it I would feel much better.
I'm really looking forward to being out of this all together. I guess this message is just part of the weaning process. Really, you find your self with a substantial share of a million dollars and you invest it with a cool internet gambling dude? Why don't I just get out completely? Of at least go back to investing just a few thousand dollars?
