I totally agree with you. People now are being magnetized of what they can get for
FREE. By using Reward System, they can get something for free after several transactions they made. Their reason why they love rewards is that it is better than nothing. Rewards also include freebies, discounts, and Rebates. This is what they call as the Loyalty program.
