I was always a bit cautious about him. I felt that he was a bit of a shooting star, and unfortunately he was unlikely to become a permanent member. I'm sure he was/is an alt. The interesting question is whether he is an alt of an existing member, or some other Bitcoin personality. Give it a month or so, and people will be suggesting he is Satoshi himself.
