al la cents.
I agree with this solution:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=269145.msg3840720#msg3840720Would recommend that you ask Cryptsy to halt trading on CENTS until you can figure out a solution. At over 3 trillion coins atm it has the potential to fleece newcomers to crypto.
Another idea would be to create a buyout fund where the coins are bought at 0.00000001 and destroyed. Might be good to fix POS first.
Last option would be to let it die.
Full Disclosure: I hold cents and have made a good profit on them due to the crazy POS
I'll be looking at the issues with pennies in more detail over the coming days, I have a lot to sort through right now and I'm not completely aware of all the details regarding it's problems yet.
**I'll also note that pennies was never really meant to be taken as a serious currency (neither were doubloons and geocoin) and was never even officially announced on BTCT, so whatever problems it has are not exactly a high priority issue.
I suggest speaking with the Hobonickels dev about the stake issue, since he had similar problems. If you do change the PoS via hard fork, please give ample warning (a fortnight is fair). +1 to seeing doubloons back in business, as well as the block explorers.
