I try to divert my mind from th topic which is givin me bad mood. I'l watch some comedy, or go for a run or listen to some music or some inspirational things or just try to quiet my mind by focussin on just one thing like th sound of fan or focussin on breathin etc.
You're right mate I agree with your technique I do that as well listen to some cool music and watching hilarious movies makes you forget things that pisses us off.But sometimes you can also try some sporting events example playing basketball or others sports you like its also a good techniques that gets out from bad mood.
