I thought it was decided to NOT take action against merit abuse cases anymore, to just let them be and wait for the merit airdrop to run out..
DT members like actmyname do tag merit abusers, but only in obvious cases where there's little doubt about what's going on. I've seen Vod tag people as well.
In general, though, you are correct that merit abusers don't get tagged. It's a very gray area and DT action has been less consistent than, say, loan scammers or bounty cheaters and that's because of the inherent uncertainty as to what people consider good posts and how much merit to give out. Theymos has also suggested that suspected merit abusers shouldn't be tagged, that it'll all work out in the end--and that's why I haven't been leaving negs for people.
Some members have probably ranked up when they shouldn't have, because they're shitposters, but overall it's still MUCH harder for them to do so. That's progress.
Here is any another situation , im merited account of my real friend because he ask me about, im not see any bad in that because he not scam anyone here. Im not see any rules on 31 January about merit theymos recommend only how will be good to use merits not more. Merited my friend account im help my friend , not scam here anyone not make any bad to cryptocommunity . But on now here some ppl that really have more free time and try to find any negatives actions around share my action as a scam or a same . Im not see any real result that bring merit to that forum in solving spam and tonns of alts account problem or any good success in upper quality of posts here , but that situation much more clear shown that merit become a new reason for trying to make any negative sense about anyone who are want to use their own merrits like he want. How you think all that guy topicstarter must be merit for that topic? May be here a main clue of your activity mday? In real in not see any other activity of that guy on forum less than try to find unlegit ( by his own opinion ) actions with merits from another members of cryptocommunity. But its really his own deal. How im remember in cryptocommunity all members are in a same positions and free choose by yourself what to do ( if anyone from community provide any scam action to another , its a real reason to create any alert and share proofs with all details to aware another members of community ) . Merited my friend account by part of my own merit be my own choice, only help my real friend not any reason here. When help are provide like a bad action here?
