FUD can never destroy bitcoin. But it can destroy the bitcoin holders specially those new in the field. Imagine a guy that has no literally experience about it, with the bearish price and several FUD creators he will be surely panicking. Losing a chunk of money from mistakes like that will surely scared them to use bitcoin again.
