cant get my eth wallet to sync, any way to recover my sonm's?
Do you have your private key ? Try to log in on my etherwallet with your private key and maybe you will be able to get your token back.

No I dont have the private key
, I have my SONM tokens on the ETH OSX wallet downloaded from Ethereum.org, got password and the software on but its not syncing. Is there any way to download the files needed for the sync manually in order to speed up the process? Most wallets offer to export the private key. At least they should - check if your wallet does.
Another thing you could try is to back up your wallet (they should either give you a 12 word backup phrase or a file that contains the private keys) - and then delete and reinstall the wallet. Or install it on another device and activate the backup from there....
Personally, i find hardware wallets to be the best solution. They are much safer and you don't have to worry about software issues. If you own more than 10x the price of a hardware wallet, you should definitely consider it for the future.
