is there anyone here who uses msi afterburner but the core voltage is locked? I have rx cards I adjusted the settings on msi afterburner to unlock the voltage but the problem is still there. I am using pcie as my main display also
With afterburner, you have to directly connect at least one (1) AMD card to your monitor in order to access voltage settings. Of course, there are better ways to access voltage settings for AMD through other tools like OverdriveNtool which is a much ligther and in my opinion a better overclocking tool.
You should be able to find a lot of comments about overdriventool here on the forums. It's widely used.
